In 1920 Dr. Newman established the original Shattuck hospital and his legacy continues today at Newman Memorial Hospital. For almost a century, the administration, physicians, nurses and staff of the hospital have dedicated themselves to serving the communities of Northwest Oklahoma, Southern Kansas and the Texas Panhandle with compassionate, high-quality, affordable health care. Today, Newman Memorial Hospital proudly serves our community as a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, offering comprehensive 24-hour emergency services, inpatient/acute care, a Swing Bed program, and a growing Specialty Clinic. We are fully licensed by the Oklahoma State Department of Health, certified to provide Medicare and Medicaid services (CMS), and our laboratory holds CLIA certification. Our state-of-the-art reference lab serves not only our patients but also outreach clients across Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas.
