Brian Gillis, D.O.

Brian Gillis, D.O., is a board-certified physician and surgeon with more than 25 years of experience in gastrointestinal health and surgical care. A native of Arnett, Oklahoma, he returns to Northwest Oklahoma to serve the communities that helped shape his early interest in medicine.

Dr. Gillis is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Proctology and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, with specialized expertise in anorectal conditions, defecatory disorders, and pelvic floor dysfunction. He earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his training at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester and Grandview Hospital in Dayton.

Throughout his career, Dr. Gillis has held numerous leadership roles, including Chief of Surgery and Vice Chief of Staff, and has contributed to medical education nationwide, lecturing at institutions such as Harvard, Mayo Clinic, and Cleveland Clinic. He also developed Maine’s largest anorectal and pelvic floor laboratory, serving as a referral center for complex conditions.

Dr. Gillis is proud to bring advanced specialty and surgical care closer to home for patients across Northwest Oklahoma. He sees patients in Woodward and Shattuck.
