Meet Michelle Woods, PT

Michelle Woods PT

Michelle Woods, PT, grew up in Shattuck and feels truly blessed to return to her hometown to serve the surrounding communities through physical therapy. She earned her degree in physical therapy in 2000 after attending Oklahoma State University and completing her training at OU Medical Center.

With nearly two decades of experience, Michelle brings both skill and compassion to her work. She provides outpatient and inpatient physical therapy services at Newman Memorial Hospital in Shattuck, as well as home health physical therapy throughout parts of Ellis County. Michelle is passionate about helping her patients recover, regain strength, and return to the activities they enjoy most. She often shares that it does not feel like work when you get to do something you love every day.

Michelle’s interest in physical therapy began after she experienced a knee injury and ACL tear in high school. That experience shaped her desire to help others navigate recovery and regain their quality of life. Because of this, she has a deep understanding of what her patients are going through and is committed to supporting them every step of the way.

Michelle is married to Josh Woods, and together they have two children, Ellery and Tead. She enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her children in their activities, and making memories together at the lake.
