Amy Vasko, APRN-CNM, is a nationally board-certified Nurse Midwife with over two decades of experience in women’s health and maternity care. She is passionate about supporting women through every stage of life—from adolescence to menopause, and especially through the journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery.
Amy began her career after earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee in 1999. Driven to expand her impact, she pursued her Master of Science in Nursing–Midwifery and graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit in 2014. She then completed her national certification, becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife.
Over the past nine years, Amy has cared for women in a variety of clinical settings, gaining a wealth of experience in prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum support, and overall women’s health.
As part of Newman Memorial Hospital—recognized as a Breastfeeding-Friendly Hospital—Amy is committed to promoting evidence-based maternal and newborn care. She provides compassionate, personalized support to each patient and advocates for safe, informed, and empowering birth experiences.
