Biography:
Timothy Vavricka, M.D. is a board-certified general surgeon with deep roots in Oklahoma and extensive experience in both civilian and military medicine. A 1997 graduate of Ada High School, Dr. Vavricka earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma in 2001.
He went on to medical school where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2005 and was simultaneously commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy. Dr. Vavricka completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, finishing in 2010.
Following residency, he was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and served as Ship’s Surgeon aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65), completing two combat deployments to the Middle East prior to the ship’s decommissioning. He later served as a Staff Surgeon at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, the busiest medical center in the U.S. Navy, where he also held the role of Assistant Professor of Surgery, helping train future Navy surgeons.
After completing his military service, Dr. Vavricka returned to Oklahoma to establish his practice with Southwest General Surgery.

Biography:
Dr. Brian Gillis, D.O., is a board-certified physician and surgeon with more than 25 years of experience in gastrointestinal health and surgical care. Born and raised in Arnett, Oklahoma, Dr. Gillis returns to Northwest Oklahoma to serve the communities where his medical journey first began.
A graduate of Arnett High School, Dr. Gillis also trained at Newman Memorial Hospital as a student through the High Plains Technology Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995, completed his internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, and his residency at Grandview Hospital in Dayton.
Dr. Gillis is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Proctology and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. He is widely recognized for his expertise in anorectal conditions, with a subspecialty focus in defecatory disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction.
Throughout his career, Dr. Gillis has held numerous leadership roles, including Chief of Surgery at Inland Hospital in Maine, as well as Vice Chief of Staff and Board of Trustees member. He also serves on the State Medical Board in Augusta, Maine.
Dr. Gillis is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Osteopathic College of Proctology, where he previously served as President. He has lectured nationally at leading institutions including Harvard, the Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the University of Cincinnati.
His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of complex gastrointestinal and pelvic floor conditions. He also developed and operated the largest anorectal and pelvic floor laboratory in the state of Maine, providing advanced care for patients with fecal incontinence, chronic constipation, and pelvic floor disorders.
Dr. Gillis is proud to return home to Northwest Oklahoma, where he looks forward to providing advanced specialty and surgical care close to home.

Dr. Zane Uhland, DO, is a highly experienced, board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has been delivering exceptional orthopedic care across Oklahoma since 2004. Raised in Harrah, Oklahoma, he completed his undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Saint Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, with advanced subspecialty training in Cincinnati, Tampa, and Boston.
Dr. Uhland began his private practice in Oklahoma City and expanded to rural communities in 2008 to make high-quality orthopedic care more accessible. Over the years, he has served patients in Shattuck, Woodward, Chickasha, Clinton, Guymon, Ardmore, and Duncan—believing strongly in the value of providing expert care close to home.

Biography:
Dr. Atul Walia, D.O., is a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship trained interventional pain management specialist with more than 20 years of experience treating acute and chronic pain conditions. An Oklahoma native, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and completed fellowship training in interventional pain management at Texas Tech University.
Dr. Walia specializes in advanced image guided procedures to diagnose and treat conditions such as back and neck pain, sciatica, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, joint and arthritis pain, neuropathy, headaches, and cancer related or post surgical pain. He takes a compassionate and personalized approach to care, working closely with each patient to develop treatment plans that focus on restoring function, improving mobility, and enhancing quality of life.
Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Walia enjoys spending time with his wife and children in Edmond, Oklahoma and remains actively involved in medical education throughout the state.
