Open 24-hours-a-day, 365 days-a-year, the department is staffed by highly-qualified physicians and nursing staff trained to deliver medical care at all levels.
Newman Memorial collaborates with services like Apollo, EagleMed, and AirEvac Lifeteam to ensure swift transportation for patients in need of more advanced care.
The vast majority of the Emergency Department staff maintain advanced certifications in Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation and trauma.
