About the Role
Newman Healthcare Associates is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated care team at the Woodward Specialty Clinic. The LPN will play a key role in supporting patient care alongside our providers, ensuring every patient receives high-quality, personalized healthcare in a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or healthcare provider.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed.
- Record and maintain accurate patient information in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to the supervising provider.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, specimen collection, and vital signs monitoring.
- Support patient education and reinforce instructions provided by the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment following infection control standards.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare staff.
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the State of Oklahoma (required).
- CPR/BLS certification (required or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-centered environment.
- Experience in a clinic or outpatient setting preferred but not required.
