Jeremy was born in Shawnee, OK and raised in Cromwell, OK graduating from Butner High School. He went on to play baseball for 2 years at Carl Albert State College. Afterwards he attended the University of Oklahoma, earning his Bachelors of Science in Health and Exercise Science. Once he had completed Surgical Technician School, he worked for 5 years in the surgery realm as an orthopedic surgical assistant. Fueled by a love for orthopedics and a desire to continue his education, Jeremy attended and completed the Physician Assistant program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2011. He has been practicing with Dr. Zane Uhland since that time. Growing up as an athlete and spending his career growing in the field of orthopedics has given Jeremy a unique perspective for the patients he sees. He states, “I love meeting people from all walks of life knowing that I can be a part of decreasing their pain and improving their quality of life. There are many aspects of medicine that don’t have a clear solution. It’s one of the reasons I’ve always been drawn to orthopedics. There is generally a practical, hands on solution.”
