Shandy Baggs, APRN-CNP

I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2000. My experience in the 11 years as an RN included labor and delivery, medical-surgical nursing, clinic nursing, home health care. I received my Master’s in Nursing Education in 2007 and taught LPNs for 5 years. I moved back to Laverne in 2008 with my family and was the Director of nurses on the OB floor in Woodward for 3 years. I then decided to reach my overall goal to become a Family Nurse Practitioner and received my Post-Master’s degree from Graceland University in Independence Missouri in 2011. I obtained my national certification, and I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I have been practicing here at Newman Healthcare Associates with Dr. Stuart since 2011. I see patients across the lifespan from infants to geriatrics. I believe taking care of patients and connecting with them is a very rewarding and humbling calling.
